Balakata will donate all proceeds from the sale of bags in all its stores to the San Enrique de Guadiaro nursing home, which is supported by the La Milagrosa foundation. The foundation helps all people without financial resources to access a place in the residence.

One of Sotogrande's most emblematic stores is Balakata. Not far from the store is the town of San Enrique de Guadiaro. This town and its inhabitants have been a fundamental part of making Sotogrande what it is today. Since its origin, its inhabitants and those of nearby towns have worked with love and enthusiasm to turn Joe Mcmicking's project into a reality. With this gesture, we want to support the elderly in the area and give back everything they have given us with their effort by offering them a dignified residence in their town without having to move to other areas. The La Milagrosa foundation supports all people without financial resources who need a place in the residence and cannot afford to pay for it.
